My first fanart for Twelve Kingdoms/Juuni Kokki!! Wonderful anime. From episode 14 and above, that is Taiki with the black hair is the long lost Kirin that accidentally got swept away and born into "this" world, not knowing what he is until the people from the Twelve Kingdoms rescue him. He's SO CUTE.I'm so sad that they never gave us closure on what happened to poor Taiki
! (but I'm looking at the translations to the novels)Also in the picture: Sanshi in the back, who is Taiki's Nyoukai (?), who was born to protect him. She has the lower body of a leopard and the tail of a serpent. o.O Odd mix, but neat.
The man with the white hair is Gyousou-dono *___*

I love this picture, Taiki still looks cute as a teen- only not as cute as when he was a kid (I'm sure many, many people agree with me)! But you definitely did a good job drawing all of them. *Nice touch with Gyousou, he looks awesome!

Gyousou is not dead. If he died, or any other emperor of that matter, Hakuchi would chirp.
Episode 21 explains it at the end.
45 episodes is not enough. lol They would of made so much more. I watched it over few times but it still feels like the anime missing episodes. Wish they would of added few more seasons.

Ahhh...I've only seen a bit of the anime. Glad to hear Gyousou is not dead.
I think they didn't finish animating all the manga, so we don't get complete closure on the Gyousou/Taiki stuff...
