Sokka: And it's YOUR turn to do the laundry!Rough, thick lineart. It started off as body movement practice, but then doodled Sokka and Zuko over it. Then became fanart. Zuko could use a bit more buffness, but I like how it turned out. :U Some random rocky background.

O.O erm... how do you draw your rocks? I know they seem really simple but i have the worst time with ththem and yours look really well done but dont look like they took forever ( dont take that as a bad thing, just osme people really detail thier rocks)

I start off with a massive dark blob. I start with the darkest color (for the shadows). Then I "build" on top of it with a lighter color set on a low opacity. No planning, really... just put down some color and then the basic shapes come out. Build them up.

Nah, Zuko lost some of his awesome muscles when he became a refugee/prettyboy prince/emo good guy. I like his expression though. xD Oh, Zuko. He was SO adorkable in TWAT.

it was a great episode. I watched it four times in one day before i fixed the audio and watched it some more.

"...and when Zuko finally joins the team he learns the value of teamwork, friendship and how to wash delicates." This is very humorous and makes me smile so much. I like Zuko's ackward expression and Sokka's demanding pose. The linework is nice and background is really well done. Good choice of colors and i think you've captured the moment quite well. The only thing that bothers me is how cartoony the characters look against the really welldone background. I would be nice to see a good transition between both styles. and maybe a continuation of this with the other characters as well.

Thank you for the lovely comment. 8D As for the cartoony look versus the background, sadly the background was just an afterthought and took me 1/4rd the time it took drawing and then coloring the characters themselves. They were going to hover in a void otherwise, but I'm much amused at how the background came out nicely. I may redo the peice, depending on time. Thanks <3

I'm totally hoping for more Sokka/Zuko interactions in the upcoming episodes. The end of 312 (before crazy ass Katara showed up) was so wonderfully amusing and awkward. ^_^

Zuko's lookin' really nice there--good movement and posing. But Sokka looks a little awkward in his upper torso. For later reference--for a good solid "FINGER THRUST RAWR", throw their whole body towards that direction, with shoulder attached to the action heading that way too.
