I did this last week while watching my bestie's house, watching her pets. I had a blast and I had my anthology of the Cthulhu mythos with me. After reading a few short stories, I was inspired to do this. This is mostly watercolor, save for the India ink she is drawn with, and the normal marker that her little bundle of joy is colored with. However, I used the cheap paper I had laying around, and thus the paper warped, hence you can kinda see the ripples in her specifically.

So is this mermaid away of her bizarre package? Is she playing an unknowing mother to the Great Old One himself? Let me know what you guys think, comments as always are appreciated.
