Description
The honorable General Leo from Final Fantasy VI (or FF3 in USA), who is one of the few people that realize (always too late) that the Empire and Emperor he serves is not all they seem. During the brief time you actually get to play as Leo, you get the distinct impression that he could kick some major ass if given the chance, which he isn't.One little funny quirk about his playable time in FF6 is that he can spend an entire night in the Thamasa inn, uninterrupted by the goings-on outside, which all seem content to take five until Leo comes out.
One of the many little quirks in the game, but do not detract from its ridiculously awesome story and gameplay. Easily the best Final Fantasy game in my opinion.

In my constant quest to seek out images of one of the greatest FF characters out there -- from THE best Final Fantasy title, no less!! -- this is just a marvelous find. I love his pose, your choice of colors... your work. Everything. Kudos!

He would be awesome if he was a playable character throughout the whole game. Isn't there a Game Genie code for the SNES that lets you have him when you go fight Kefka?

My friend will go to his grave saying he somehow played thru the FFVI game on SNES with General Leo on the squad, but I have found nothing ever to suggest you could glitch this or in any way stop him from getting killed by Kefka.
This pic was originally going to be my submission for genesis44 's FFVI npc picture contest (check out her DA page if you would like to join in), but I am going to do Kefka and Gestahl before I decide. If I don't get those done before the deadline, I'll use this pic.
I always liked Leo, too. Getting an idea of wtf that hair of his was doing was difficult. Had to look at every possible piece of concept art and sprites I could to figure it out

That hair........words can't describe how long I spent looking at every single sprite I could of Leo to see exactly what the hell that hair is actually doing
SO i went with a sort of wavy/spikey thing. lol.
And I had no idea what his sword would look like so I made it relatively simple.
