Srry this is so late, but depending on your goal in the art world, I can just say work on your basics then always "honestly" express yourself because it will come through. Besides that, in this world it's crucial to network, man. Make great relationships with all your appreciators AND people in the industry. Peers and everyone else. Eventually something will happen with a positive attitude.
