As we're all waiting for the rest of season 3 of Avatar to air, I think I have found one of the reasons for the delay- there was a swap and Sokka has been messing with the original Avatar production schedule!Anyone familiar with animation productions will recognise the chart used to keep track of production- they pretty much look the same at every studios-

(seriously, I do not know why there is a delay in the broadcasting of new episodes. We all need to be a bit more patient.)

Yeah, the The Last Airbender series was the best! The final season was still pulling in about 5.5+ million views on its last episode. When I heard they were animating more Avatar episodes, I was happy until I found out they weren't continuing the still-unfinished parts of the original story (Like with Zuko's mother), but rather starting over with a new avatar. I still gave it a shot (writers were even mean enough to hint at the unfinished arc without ever showing it)--but the series was "meh..." at best. The interesting parts of the original series then spiraled out of the story after the first season. People started acting out of character, or stopped growing altogether. The ratings dropped to just barely over a million views (1.08) half way through season 3. Season 1 was interesting but overly rushed, and from season 2 and onward, it just felt like beautifully animated fan-fiction at some point.
Wish they had just finished the original series before crashing the new one.Β Β Β

Yeah totally agreed. The only thing I REALLY liked during the Korra seasons was the story of the first Avatar.Β That one really stood out and was for me on same level as TLA.

I WAS SO CONFUSED when I saw this until I saw it was 2008. I was honestly hoping they were adding an extra "Epilogue" season to avatar. DISAPPOINTMENT. I TOTALLY WOULDNT MIND IF THEY DECIDED TO HACK ONE ON 10 YEARS LATE THOUGH?! Korra was nice, Don't get me wrong, But i'd like to have a little more BEFORE half of our original party was DEAD.

they had iro , his nephew and those other guysΒ all together chumming around like a afterwards like you read in books. kora had none of that it jsut did a political ending which i thought was not good at all.Β they did nothing of the sort fr that ending just 2 girlsΒ going into a portal thats is just a dumb ending there was no interacting f anyone . it was pointless and boring and i could care less to see that ending again but with the air bender ending i could watch that over and over. it was done 100% better

Ok....they had everyone from Korra chumming it up at the wedding. And then Tenzin and Korra reflecting....and then Asami and Korra. How is that different than Katara pulling Aang away from the party at the end of atla?
And why the hell do you keep calling it "a political ending"? Last I checked that was a romantic scene, not one of them running for President of the Republic.
Also....learn to use capitals at the start of sentences.

That's a debate that has been discussed since day one, but that wasn't what this started out as. It started out with you calling it political and claiming the endings were completely different.
