Burn decks are really interesting for me. Though I prefer an old fashioned beatdown deck.

If you ask me, my play style with burn decks centered around (for example) Ebon Magician Curran does not involve battles at all. All damages are pure burn damage. While it's very tempting to have the double effect of burning and healing, I tend to be a specialist. I devote all resources to standby burn damages. Here's a functional deck I constructed.

perhaps you'll take some pointers from Flora and add them to your side deck. nice burn deck though

Why no Solemn Judgment? Surely with all the uber-heal cards, this deck can afford it...
I'd say take out 1 PMD and Mermaid, take out Dancing Fairy and both Kozaky's SDBs, and replace them and with Solemn Judgment, Beckoning Light, Pot of Avarice (Maybe 2) and 1 or 2 Dark Bribes to balance out negating everything. Then, put in Smashing Ground and Sangan, and if you got one, put a Stardust Dragon and/or Sea Ocean Lord Gishilidon (When Level 3 or lower monsters go to the grave.) into your Extra Deck.
That should leave you w/ 45 cards.
Then you got an interesting Deck that's got some good punches left and right.

good ideas. but I will remind you of something. Flora's deck is meant not only to keep your life points high, but also damage your opponent and to make your opponent damage themselves. the point of the SDBs are to make people think twice about Stormimg the field. Also, I will pass on adding Stardust Dragon, it takes away from the theme

You don't need Synchros at all if you want to stay with the burn theme. From my first reply above, you can probably tell why I don't even have a single monster-removal at my disposal. If anything I want the opponent's monsters fill up the field. And even if they choose not to summon, I'll simply flood their field with Ojama Trio.

awesome deck, im in need of a card ruling... can you use "skull lair" in response to an attack? i want to make sure im using this card right

if it's face-up and active before the attack, you should be able to use it. I don't use that card myself, so I don't know
