I can't spend too much time without drawing this goofy fella ahahahat first this pic would be somehow a "scene" when he transforms, but in the end I decided to not make it so visible
no detailed bg again... need to work on it >u<

Well that's what I call a badass pose ! I love the dynamics and the chain-parts flying towards the viewer, I'd almost want to move my head to the left to avoid the part flying towards the screen x3 And the detail of the markings on his neck and back look amazing ! Those must have taken a while to paint I guess : O And I also like the shadow's he's casting on the floor, I tried to get that effect once but for some reason it's giving me a hard time to get that kind of shadow/light to look right :,D
And that eye! I love glowing eyes <3

ohh, you use Sai right? I don't know how to work on it very well... but I usually draw it with the lace, apply a gradient, and give it a blur. It's not perfect but it gets this way it is on the drawing ;u;

Nah I think the gradients you use for the shading look great :] I can imagine that this technique is pretty hard to do with Photoshop, I used to do it with Photoshop and the shading just wouldn't look clean unless I spent decades on it ;-; So I indeed use Paint Tool Sai for it now xD The program has built-in stabilizer which slows down you pen movements, it truly helped me out a lot when doing lines and shading (: Now I almost always use Sai for lined/cell shaded work :3 It's not a complicated program actually, I picked up on things pretty fast when using it for the first time. It's just that I had to get used to the tools a bit x3

ohhhh I understand... they say SAI is much better to work on linearts 'cause that! I never tried, I imagine I would love (I worked as an inker on a kids book studio)
I love the soft effect SAI lets, I see it on your works and Grypwolf's... is really pretty, PS is a little rough yet I think
I need stop being stubborn and lazy, and try out SAI a bit!

I saw that many of my favourite anime artists here on dA and on other sites use the program a lot and it always gives that awesome effect considering the smooth lines and the shading they do with the water brush and pen tool c: I want to start working on the type of shading with the water brush as well and maybe markers : D But still, the pen is my favourite one to shade with as it gives such sharp angles and smooth edges like in some of the best anime series and works c:
Photoshop can't handle my shaky hands xD Especially when I drink an extra cup of coffee xD I use Photoshop more for paintings and backgrounds as it has better textured brushes and such c: But it's truly worth to play around with SAI ! : D

I really love it... cellshading to me is one of the most amazing art styles
I also like thin linearts, like okaminoyoukai (?) ones... it gives a nice look

Andohyess thin lines are just awesome ! I'm currently practising using them in drawings, it's a huge challenge for my jittery hand XD but I'll manage it somehow C,: I remember cussing at my hands when trying to do those thin lines in Photoshop back on my old account, it was pure terror sometimes xD
