Hey Runa, just wanted to tell you a couple of things about something from my own artistic perspective. Its your own decision whether you want to listen to it or not. However I've noticed something weird.
I've been doing full time art for a while now and work with people for years, and I know you are new and gained quick popularity etc. I know you are probably happy and all, but I feel I need to say this for myself and for others who have commissioned to you.
If you have problems its okay to have them, you share them with people, because we can't read your mind, we don't know how bad it is. I am saying this because there are people out there who commissioned/traded you and are currently waiting on their art and possibly left in the dark as I am and it doesn't feel nice (and as you may remember I art traded you last year and sent you my part like in October/November? Therefore its been 6 months now since our agreed delivery date). Of course we aren't machines or robots, hell, there are times I can't draw anything at all, because I don't want to put negative feelings into my art, no one does. However in your case I don't see that you can't draw. You do draw. You draw...personal..art.
I want to say this, that I know you sometimes need to vend off and draw something personal, I understand it as an artist, but not all the time. I've noticed you posted 3 personal arts in a row, and what makes it worse that 2 of them are adoptables that make you more money. I understand there may be financial issues, and maybe you took too much than you can handle. But it would be nice to keep us informed and continue to work on the commissions instead of posting personal art. Just a friendly note to keep us updated is enough. Because what you are doing now is creating new content to sell.
I am in a similar situation as you now (although I am not sure why you are busy), but I've been sick for over a month and still am a bit, but when I work on anything. I always only work on commissions. I owe people and they paid me already. In my personal perspective its a correct way of action.
Again I'm not trying to cause drama and make you upset or demotivated, because if you have personal stuff going on then that's absolutely fine. These things happen, and there are some things we can't avoid. A friendly message to keep us updated will be nice as its not a great feeling to be left in the dark and wondering if we will ever receive our art we paid/traded.
I hope your issues and whatever you are having gets solved and you will evolve into an artist that will be admired and respected.
