Description
This was taken at the Coffs Harbour Butterfly House. Apparently this species is hard to get a photo of because they move around so much, luckily I had my zoom lens so I could snap one when it thought it was safe on a distant leaf. Also luckily, it was large enough to not need a macro lensRelated content

I do not think I have ever seen a butterfly like that before and that really is a perfect shot.

Thank you so much! It's probably my favourite photo I've ever taken. It's one of a very select few that I can't think of how it could have been better
