Very awesome picture I love the natural look of the dinosaur but also the dark, foreboding background. The thick moss hanging off of the trees, the branches lacing together like a net, awesome. X3

Thanks and well done you for spotting that! This painting was done for a competition about inspirations and my inspiration was King Kong. Unfortunately the painting couldn't be reproduced on time for me to enter. This is only a part of the painting the rest shows the mans wife bound at the base of the altar stone. The whole painting didn't photograph very well, once I have a decent photo I will post that too.

correct, it came from my sketch book but I think I must have been inspired by an old Invicta model I have of megalosaurus and crested proceratosaurs, but yes I wanted it to be a fantasy design. I call my dodgy dinos Pseudosaurs.
