For the Silent Hill Restless dreams contest, and just an idea I've have in my head for a while.This is my favourite Silent Hill human character ever, Angela Orosco. Don't ask me why, because I don't know.
If you don't know, her back story is that she goes to Silent Hill to find her family, when in reality, she went there to end the guilt and pain caused by her murder of her father, despite the fact that he sexually abused her. Her mother told her she deserved it, and it can be deducted that her entire life was filled with sexual, verbal and physical abuse at the hands of her drunken father.
Unfortunately *insert spoiler here, do not read if you do not like being spoiled*due to the fact that she felt like she deserved it all, and the fact that she hates herself, she burned alive in a hell she created in her mind. I cry everytime. EVERYTIME.
The song that goes with this is Otep's "Jonestown Tea" a powerful song that actually allows you a glimpse into the hells of sexual abuse, since Otep was raped by her father as a little girl. The song is genuine, and I don't recommend listening to it for the weak of heart because it is genuinely disturbing, and very sad. Lyrics are as posted

Thank you for entering the conest and I wanted to drop by to let you know i really enjoyed this deviation. One of my favorite things is reading writing on the walls especially in drawings. (fan of graffiti in general ) A very nice touch putting the abstract daddy in the background. Angela and her burden.

Poor Angela, her story was so sad
I like the way you used the typography in the background - it makes it look more sinister along with the dark colours. And I also like that you included the Abstract Daddy in the picture as well, since it doesn't seem to get drawn much. Good luck in the contest!

Thank you, the typing was hand-painted, and took me the better part of two hours to get it a shade and styling that wouldn't take too much away from the artwork. ^^

Yeah, I listen to it, and it makes me sick because there are so many fucked-up people out there that do that shit to their own or other people's kids >:C At least Otep is one of the few who is willing to call it out.
