Description
This was a "boss-level" antagonist I used to test my D&D ground with just yesterday. It's origins are dark, rooted as they are in ritual and unwilling metamorphosis, forcing a member of the Tiamat Cult to undergo a horrific transformation into a beast of war. Unfortunately, the cult hadn't reckoned with the psychosis caused by such a transformation, and by the time our heroes got to the scene, the cult's mistake had cost most of them their lives.
It eventually succumbed to the party, though not before mauling many of them and poisoning one due to it's venomous bite.
