It feels more.. nostalgic, I think would be the word, to me. Like the color scheme (or lack thereof), it adds a layer of memory-like feeling as you're playing.

Yeah I would have to agree with you on that.^_^ I never had a gameboy when I was younger...never could afford it. Finally got the gameboy color though. I did miss out on some pretty good games on the original gameboy though.

So did I! When I get some cash I wanna catch up on them. Metroid 2 (which I played and beat, and loved, but it's just not the same on a computer 
My first experence with LA was a copy that came with this beautiful ice blue Gameboy Pocket. I'll never forget how it felt to play it on such a special, precious system. I gotta get a working replacement of that too!
But first I gotta focus my efforts on a tablet. Priorities!

lol it's an anime convention held in chicago and other places in the US...I believe anyways. It was quite fun...first time being in chicago. Way more awesome than where I live.
