I have in my head a 'revamp' for Turner's Captain Planet... it's been around for years, as shown by these few pages I drew out about 3 or 4 years ago. I think I was just playing along with all the revamps the late 90's and now 2000's have been about. So why not a grim and gritty version of Captain Planet?

Though you may be incredulous at first, I've had people tell me, after I got them to sit down for a moment to listen, that it's a pretty nifty idea....

but anyways, I'm just dumping a bunch of old stuff that i found on another site, aren't you lucky?
