Super swell. I havn't been drawing at all though so just recently my pal started giving me doodle assignments. Every three days she texts me a new topic and I have to doodle something for it. It hasn't brought the love for drawing back yet, but there have been some tickles of ideas I may like to pursue.
Otherwise we have an awesome dog now we've named Haggis! He's a little border terrier mutt and we love him to pieces even when he farts on us. Oh god the farts are so bad! And we're finally getting back into the kinky scene after almost a year of no playing. We're starting to go to a more local dungeon in Orange County that's more expensive than the other places, but is really much nicer. The quality of dungeons in LA has really kinda gone down hill these last couple years with the exception of one that is so far north that it's just not practical to go to.
All in all, life is good! We just went the the Highland Games in Long Beach and discovered Welsch griddle cakes! Sweet goodness they rocked my world and I'm totally going to try making them this weekend! They go wonderfully with tea! You should totally try some!
What's new with you and your sweety?

Sorry about the late reply... still recovering and then, extremely unfortunately, both of us got food poisoning on Tuesday night and spent the next day in a miserable state. What a way to celebrate Fat Tuesday, eh? The one thing to come from it though on the positive, is that we've taken it as a sign to change up our lives, using Lent as an excuse. We're gonna cut out drinking and smoking and try a vegan lifestyle for 40 days. Only 38 to go...
Life has been interesting, especially this past year. The marriage went incredibly and our honeymoon in Minneapolis where we attended a sci-fi convention was fantastic. Our drive out here was an adventure and with little mishap. Four days in a car is a long time but we were able to visit some friends in South Dakota and in Portland, Oregon. We've had a few friends from Iowa come out and also Julia's family stayed for a week, which was nice.
Bellingham is a wonderful town, in clear view of mountains, forests, and the ocean. The beer is spectacular and we've become close friends with the people who run a family-friendly beer emporium that's just a couple blocks away. Our studio apartment serves us alright, though we're definitely attempting to look for another place come fall... and possibly in another town. It's a really nice place and all, but if Julia doesn't find a salary-teaching job, we may move on... perhaps to Portland (we have friends and soon also my brother and his soon to be wife). And honestly, I'm at a crossroad with where to go with my life. I've been keeping on with the comics work, though infrequently to be able to say i'm 'professional' about it. It's hard to focus on it when I've been scrambling to find any job, let alone one that may one day be satisfying and "career-orientated". It just may be that I need to give it more time around these parts to get situated, but similar to my wife, I may need a larger town with more opportunities... or one of those cosmic coincidences that sets me up on a fresh path.
Well, I gotta focus on my health, learn not to stress as much, and keep a sunny disposition (as much as one can in the Pacific Northwest ). I look forward to Spring, my brother's wedding in April, my sister's new baby girl in June, and hopefully setting up foundations to making our dreams come true.
I shall look for those Welsh Griddle Cakes as I do enjoy my tea!
Have fun with Haggis even if he's stinky... sounds actually like an apt name for him.
