Description so i got a library card the other day and went bananas in the central library of sw portland... they treat their trades like shit but i was able to find a few goodies, including Oeming's Six which is a really well condensed quick paced surrealist action book. all done in black and white and i've always been a fan of Oeming's style, damn that man is slick!

so here's my crack at his character trying to emulate his style. perhaps the background should have been black. ah well.

Nice work man, I;ve not heard of either the book or the artist but it sounds interesting to say the least.
Nonetheless, this is some really awesome work.

Oooo, I just did a google image search. This guy is pretty cool! I like how you left a lot of incomplete lines. It looks sweet!

yeah, that's one of my favorite effects of his, how though there are a lot of incomplete lines, the mind fills them in and the white space 'inside' the form' feel different from the white space outside of it. pretty nifty stuff! thanks, also!

Oh, that's him that does Powers? Isn't that the one Kirkman writes, or is that Capes?
