so after putting up my 'apocalyptic fears', noticed a couple 'horseys' in the picture. so that got me searching and thinking and creating this beaut...to continue with the end of times kick i've been on the past few days.one of the four horses...i don't know where the man is...

i take the guitar string, dip it into a lid of ink and either use the string part to smear it around or the 'nubbin' end that has a roller to spread it around. it stemmed from not wanting to use a pen that day and reaching for the nearest objects! life is fulla surprises... thanks for the fave and the watch!

thank you! yeah...the tools came about when i played the 'i'm sick of using a pen for drawing...what's in my immediate vicinity that i could put to use?' game. its fun to see what materials make what marks!

This is awesome work! Love this effect, like it's not physical but some supernatural menace. It really does look "end of days"-ish.

yeah i had someone yesterday it looked kind of goat esque, i'll just say yes and say that i wanted to put a devil reference into it...not the real reason of how i can't draw horses. but yes, massacre is afoot, thanks for the comment!

Wow, I like the wicked style, clever to use guitar strings and bottle caps to smear the ink out. Very cool. The red line on the top and bottom, they look intentional but make me a bit uneasy hehe

yes, you have caught me....it's a stitch job error... i guess i wasn't in the mood to fix that at the moment, it was like 3 am or something. yeah, using guitar string is wacky, it likes to flail about a lot... creating the goopiness.
