The sequencing here is absolutely perfect. For a second there you say to yourself, "wait a minute just what the hell is going on here?" and then BAM, enter spuds malone.

my friend had the same reaction... he thought i had put in an entirely different comic until he got to the last panel! It's tricky mixing the two styles... but i'm almost through this part of the scene... though i've still 6 more pages with it or so.. and then probably another 15 or so for the final act of this first issue! and then there's two definite more story arches and distant whisperings of a fourth (mayhaps FULL COLOR) issue! Overall, it's now looking like an over 200 page epic! one page at a time...
