i'm actually very pleased about how the rain effect turned out on this page, especially in the last panel... i guess i should do rain more often or something...the random building behind him in the first panel is kinda weird though... but so is the whole comic..

I want to read the rest! That's good dude, you keep me reading! You should work on the text more though! I think the shortenings and slangs should be left to one character only, because it feels too heavy! But the important is to keep the reader's interest, and you got it! chapeau for you!

COOL people want to read more! this is encouraging! and thanks for the tip about the text, i do see how it gets bogged down in the slang and lingual tricks...i'll save them for when Spuds is really drunk! so i'm feeling revved up, there'll be more by this weekend fer shure!
btw, i looked up chapeau and found only that it's a type of hat. i'm all for new slang in my vocab, but am at a loss for that one, what's it mean?

It's a french expression which means felicitations... It comes from the movement people would do when they found something really great: they would lift their hat in appreciation of the work!
