Description "Death is the Loss of All Things."

a mantra i came up with to calm myself after the first time i left this plane and had a good look around. This image comes from memories of my last journey, my face literally glued to a giant blob of quicksilver through which my thoughts and the thoughts of all other sentient beings were transmogriphied into 'hysical reality'.

'the question in modern philosophy is no longer why, but rather, what...' paraphrasing smartest mothuh on the planet!

this gets the happy 'mature' seal because some people still think the body is the source of this manifested negative energy they call 'evil' which somehow has control over our every action which is not pleasant for Ascenders because they ultimately want to be nearest to the top of the pyramid in the 'end', emitting the most control over their percieved constructed universe. thus democratic christians brings up a humorous paradox....thank you alan watts...

ink spread with pen and guitar string...

this one rocks my world
its interesting to look at all the imagery of construction and conception... there is deffinatly a peace to be found in the chaos of entanglement in perception. themes always apply - but the visceral is a direct punch to the face. cool stuff

My thoughts on this, are that is has some sort of beautiful recklessness to it and i like the deep psychedelic feeling to it, the use of colours etc etc. It's like a large realisation of thoughts in ones mind and small expressions, bursting and expressing it all like you said into reality. Why did you choose those colours in particular? Brilliant piece.

Thank you for the insightful commentary, though all commentary is good commentary, it's refreshing to elicit a reaction that is longer than a two word praise... i chose those colours, red blue and green, because those hues combined in light form can create all colors, thus they are used for screens. however, in pigmented form, they created the brown which i used to make the 'solid' forms, and the character is drawn in black to try and remove him from the rest.

the realm i journeyed to is, as best as i can describe, holographic: the images give off an electronic light feel. they have height, length and width, but no mass. i think alex grey's work pulls it off quite well...
