Excellent idea, and the execution is pretty good as well, though this is one time when I think you could have strayed away from your usual technique and spent some extra time on details.

oh i see. i forgot you're in the US.
5am is like 9am to me if i had a normal sleeping routine. i usually wake up around 3am. that's the best time for me to draw. it also gives me time to do things before i leave for work at 8am.
