Description Th-th-th-that's all folks!

...actually... it's not really. for the collected version i created an epilogue where robyn jr. and rv. xen talk about what was going on, kind of a denoument, but in hindsight i like the series with out it... so i won't give you it! unless you beg...

up next will be some of the commissioned fan art that i got from famous folk for the collection...which will lead us into the FIRST EVER RV. XEN CONTEST! HUTZPAH!

So I just read through the whole thing in your gallery!

First off the art just really worked well; it had character, style, and carried the mood of the etnire series well! So nice job there!

Also, with the story, I'm interested; what exactly were you going for? I doubt this was a totally random exercise in story telling...what exactly was the idea you wanted to express?

So yeah I enjoyed it a lot; hope to see more!

well as i mentioned on one of the pages...page 1-4 i think, i had just been doodling when a floating head thing came up and i decided to draw the first issue based on what would happen if my character and bob kane interacted. at the time my head was filled with ideas about copyright laws and collage and growth of an idea (or character) through letting others play with it. so i plugged those ideas into bat-maloy's world and this is what happened. i was thinking of ending it with a deus ex machina similar to the one found in Animal Man but by the time i got to that point, I decided things were getting to serious and preachy and thus pulled the psychedelic / tom selleck dream ending outta me instead. for me, and for some others as well, i like this ending better. i'm growing a bit tired of endings that have moral resolutions or feel like there's even an ending point at all. for me, time doesn't work like that, only stories. so though i technically start with "it all began..." and end with a corny joke about tom sellack's sexuality, i eventually wanted to just set down markers and record the events in between. i was trying to get the idea across that for the most part my world consists of silly events weighted with emotional attachments that happen for random yet precise reasons where any meaning coming from it is arbitrary because meaning comes from the imagination rather than the physical world. .... so yeah.... i guess i just hoped to entertain and i'm glad i succeded at least in your part.
