Here's one of my pages for my first creator-owned story for the anthology I'm working on along with Sean "Cheeks" Galloway, Alina "Ayanimeya" Galloway, Nick Bradshaw, Mark Smith (Amazing Joy Buzzards) and Mike Woods.It's drawn and colored by myself.
It's called Gutterpunks.

No, I drew it...haha j/k. yea it's 3d. It's something I've been wanting to try out (the 2d characters and 3d bgs) I know some people may hate the look or think it's incongruent, but one I'm still experimenting and two, I don't care, I'm gonna do my thing! I think people who go against the grain and don't get deterred can really make some break thrus and really create something new and different. People thought Edison was crazy for making the light bulb!

i think it looks great, the fact you're drawing the characters is what makes all the difference. are you using sketchup or a traditional 3d application? just curious.

Ryan--Ahh not much doing some toy design stuff and minor character design stuff as well. Did some stuff for Warcraft too, but that's about it. Gotta start looking for work again! LOL--how about yourself??
