I've always liked BF2142, and its backstory- the main complaint I have regarding it is the simple fact that my internet connection when I was playing on my old comp was shitty, and those goddamn servers weren't exactly helping, either.

Nice pic, though it doesn't look much like BF2142 gear from either faction, although you probably weren't aiming for copying them.

Reading all those comments! What is wrong with people 1st person shooters are the BEST!!! I, myself love FPS I(e.g. Counter-strike source, BF2/1942, COD4) and RTS (e.g. Company of hero's, Rome/medieval total war)

I'm not against such games myself, but it's just too modern to me. I prefer FPSs like the good, old *1942. Gives the feeling of the age.

Thank you ! They actually have tournaments at LAN parties at school for Battlefield 1942 and Battlefield 2, along with a few others. 2142 was the one they were talking about with mechs hehe.

Yup that's definitly kickin' some ass hon I don't go for any FPS either, but my hubby will play them quite often. Usually when he gets a new one, I throw my headphones on and try to tune out all the machine gun fire
