Skyward Sword! So, Link is from Skyloft, a set of floating islands (well, Aonuma did say 'islands', plural, so I assume there's more than one...). Nice XD I like this idea!So, have a pre-adventure Link, taking in the view.

Yup! It's called Skyloft, and he doesn't know the land below exists (Hyrule, or what'll become Hyrule). His departure for the land below is the major impetus for the game. Also, he somehow gets down using the Skyward Sword, which becomes the Master Sword, which actually possesses intelligence and can turn into a semi-humanoid form (the blue chick).
