1. Mario ate it at lightning speed off-screen.
2. The pasta ran at the sight of Bowser, since he was actually a threat in this show.

That's not the only error, look at how detailed the glass of juice is and in the next scene, it's not as detailed. And the table, it's dark blue in the first, but some is black in the next.

The bowl looks like a teac cup, but, beside of this, I think Mario ate them fast because he was afraid King Koopa would have made it instead of him. XD

I don't know if this is so much a continuity error as much as proof of the fact that Mario can put away pasta at lightning by merely THINKING about it.
If Mario challenged Chuck Norris to a pasta eating contest, Chuck Norris would go home CRYING LIKE A SCHOOLGIRL.
