Love this window displayI went shopping in Milton Keynes and took my camera instead of money, what a great decision, had a really nice time just strolling and looking. I can highly recommend this type of shopping and it's really good on the wallet

Great shot Kieran - you've captured the soft, sumptuos, comfortable look of the chair very well. I think this version works better with its more subdued palette.

Thank you so much for your feedback, it really is appreciated. I love this chair and the overall display; I like the first shot but like you I prefer this version. The whole display, whilst using contemporary products, had a very old fashioned feel to it. For some reason Winston Churchill comes to mind, I can just see him sitting back in a chair like this, smoking a cigar. The patriotic Union Jack, the clock and the old style telephone all conjured up for me the era of the second world war. Not the reality of it but the nostalgic, looking back with the comfort of hindsight, the rose tinted spectacles approach. I tried b&w and then sepia but this muted colours approach seemed to captured best, for me, the feeling of sumptuous comfort and a hankering for that other sort of comfort, the past
