Description Here's a tutorial that people have been asking me about for a while now. In this tutorial, I explain how to edit .fx files to make normal mapping work with your models. This tutorial doesn't teach you how to make your own normal maps, it just teaches you how to make the .fx file that defines the normal maps and how to apply them in MMD.
When reading this tutorial, I recommend looking at it in full screen or at least zoomed in.

You'll need this ZIP folder for the tutorial. It contains the .fx and .fxsub files you need to copy and edit to make your own .fx files.

Hopefully I explained this well enough. As long as you know what the terms "file extension" and "subfolder" means, you'll be fine.

Thanks for reading!

This tutorial is quite helpful but I'd like to add something:
Using this website (NormalMap-Online ) you will be able to make your own normal maps.
Load the texture and adjust the sliders to determine the roughness and type of normal you want.
