Origin: Searchlight was a war department locomotive that was sent to Britain around ww2 built by the US transportation corps she was designed for heavy freight and built to the European loading gauge she could operate in different parts of the world like the UK or as far as the middle east or Turkey. When she arrived at the yard she was greeted by some people who were to drive her they weren't use to these US locomotives some of the sounds they made might be surprising a loud booming 3chime whistle is a little surprising compared to the high pitch chime of UK locomotive , now when she first arrived she was pretty shy with being in new territory in all, heck she didn't even have a name, while in London she had taken a like to one of the people operating her four people by the name of Dawkins , Rita , Carl and Taylor , Dawkins was the she mainly operated her as he seem to know how to make her run smoothly when he and some railway workers tried driving her only to have her slipping on the track going at the pace of a sick turtle until Dawkins took the controls "Who taught you how to drive a locomotive let me have a try !" and soon had her running smoothly, Rita and the other mostly took turns with Dawkins in operating and looking after her with maintenance and operating her. One day Searchlight had both Dawkins and Rita with her when she was tasked with taking a huge train one of the were carrying missiles to the front lines when some German planes came right at her. " are they coming for us ?" she asked "Yes now speed up !" shouted Rita, Dawkins kicked the regulator in max and Searchlight took off to a tunnel up ahead the gunshots from the planes were ear piercing as heck but she made it. when asked what happened Dawkins explained how they were trying to stop the supplies from getting to they'er destination and man was she on edge a lot but the two did comfort her as to how she got her name it was one night when a black out that happens due to a air raid it was dark as hell but searchlight eyes were going like the two lamps on her buffer beam it seemed she had a night vision ability, the boys soon agreed she should be called Searchlight after she helped them find someone who was trapped by a fallen pole.
After the war she was put into storage until being brought out to be used again but when her parts started to fail she was soon scrapped as they said Diesels were more efficient she layed in the junk yard for a few years until a GE 44 toner locomotive saved her from getting scrapped she soon realized it was people who were the monsters not diesels they just added fuel to the fire it was really people who gave up on her and other engines, but that view changed when she met some people who helped restore her one of them being Dawkins, she soon met Charlies and the others and are great friends.
now she did appear here under a diffrent name > www.deviantart.com/sabertooth3… well that is the same s160 in the picture at the time I didn't have a name for her I might update it but yeah her name is Searchlight
