Behind the Image
A lovely picture for one of my SAs on OS. I was looking through old country songs and found this one, which I loved. Perfect for the love and loss lines<3 I had the wonderful idea of a horse bringing the stars into he sky. My original idea was a bit different, with the horse galloping and it having a cape and sparkly mane and tail, but I couldn't find an srabian that satisfied me, so I picked this one. I think he's gorgeous. I made him have the blanket of stars in his mouth instead of as a cape.

In the Making
I started with the horse, cut, cloned out the halter, smudged, adjusted coloration, and painted in the rest of the hooves that were grass coverd. I was going to just paint a bit of the tail and smudge, but ended up painting all of it in.(Sorry shia I realized halfway through I should have done screenshots, next time.) I decided not to use a real background, just black so that the horse was filling the sky with stars. I painted int eh outline of the blanket, and messed with the stars for ages. it was tough to make ti actually look real, while still keeping the mystical fantasy quality. Toward the end I felt the horse needed to be troting on something, so I added int he petal walkway that looked kind of like a cobblestone road. Byt he end the horse still looked too real compared to everythign else. so I painted it to look more like the fantasy type thing. This was actually more difficult than a regular piece, I am not very good at blending fantasy to reality, definately more of a real girl.
