It is indeed a great way to let go and accept the randomness with opened arms..
I like to get these pourings done when i have no inspiration (more or less) even though most people say it's a calming process for me it's everything but that...

If you wanna try look for annemarie ridderhof (on youtube) , she is a very good acrylic artist that has some dope explanations , a lot to learn from her

Ah that's good advice thank you!
Same here, I turn to abstractism when I have no solid ideas, but my abstracts are just not random enough
I was in the art store and concidering buying it, but it was too damn expensive, gotta save some money first...
Just watched a few videos on youtube, really inspiring, now I know I gotta have it

I have the same issue whenever i try to "let go" i end up balancing everything in a way or another : ))
glad you like her videos!! I don't use very expensive material because i'm still learning so i just went with some house paints

acrylics... apparently everyone is doing these pours but it's a magical thing to pour them and then let them sink into eachother and create cells and whatnot.. a really chill experience

I agree! Sometimes the random smudges of colors, random chaotic distribution of dark and light areas is just so naturally beautiful...

yea if you can cope with it while working. I mean.. i tend to see differently when checkin my work after a while and some of the strokes that looked "retarded" usually give so much depth and backbone to the whole image ..

it's something you would be very good at if you would pursue this type of digital work
