While this card is in your GY, monsters you control named "RAM☍Shackle ://Botnet" can attack your opponent directly. You can only activate 1 "RAM☍Shackle ://Botnet" per Duel.

Botnet is a slightly less contentious card in comparison to Alias, however both serve key roles in accruing value for the 'RAM☍Shackle' archetype. Although it takes more setup, being able to 'load' this card's name onto a monster, swing in for some damage, and grab two 'RAM☍Shackle' cards from your GY is essential to playing this strategy from behind, given the direct attacking effect often lets you ignore problematic, large monsters the opponent may control. One of the main reasons Botnet can't add back a Normal Spell was, in testing, I found that it in comparison to something like RAM☍Shackle Processurge would allow you to too-easily access your Alias, and looping Engage-style cards isn't at all what we want, in terms of balance.

Trivia: ://Botnet, and the other Normal Spells, share the nomenclature of a search term within a directory, with 'Botnet' being a network of corrupted computers, all operated by the same hacker; this Spell likewise mimics that, by giving you access to your linear line with a connected 'network' of card combinations you're able to add back, via its effect.
