Description
NCC-1731 USS Jeanne D'Arc departs on the month long Starfleet Academy training cruise to Andoria, Vulcan, and back to Earth, which is unofficially dubbed "The Maiden Voyage," for both the ship's namesake and for the fact that this is the first real cruise the cadets will be going on (but still under experienced officers, of course.) Along the way they will be engaging the "Advesary" ship, the re-vamped Klingon D7 cruiser the IKC K'Ehleyr, itself a training ship. For both crews, this exercise is nothing less than a 30-day stress test for cadets consisting of sensor sweeps, navigational challenges, shuttle operations, simulated battles, and simulated systems malfunctions.
