War and conflict will carve out scars which never heal... but it will also form bonds with others that will never break.Yep, another Overwatch render... it seems to be the only thing I can draw inspiration from these days. In particular, this one came from the cover image of the Rise Against album The Sufferer and The Witness (hence the title of this render). Not only do the silhouettes kinda make me think of Ana and Jack, but a lot of the songs within the album do the same as well (which also helped when it came to figuring out the render beyond the initial poses I came up with). I had to flip the poses to get Ana's good eye on the right side, but other than that this came together exactly as I imagined it.

I suppose that was partially what I was going for here. The mood here also has a bit to do with these characters' backstories in Overwatch. Ana and Jack sometimes doubt themselves because of the decisions they've made and the things that've happened under their watch in the past, but they've been comrades for so long (about 30 years), and they're always quick to bolster the other when it's needed, seeing as their job's not done. (Of course, for heroes like them, their job is never done.)

Well, between Billy Talent and Rise Against, I can say you've got a really good taste in music ;3
Of course, Ana and Jack's backstory is way more complicated than just that. But that's one of the reasons I'm in love with this game, the level of character development. Blizzard has really done a masterful job with crafting this universe of theirs.
