Description
Since I made huge changes to this painting while overhauling my entire portfolio, I decided to post this as a new submission. I regrettably deleted the 2016 version, but here is the 2010 version (fav.me/d2k6xly )Related content

Oh, look, I stumble upon your page again! Just wanted to say I really like this portrait and to give a suggestion or two, if you'd like.

There's a couple anatomical details that would make it look more realistic; one is the area under the eyes, since there is a lower eyelid there it's supposed to be shaded a little (I'd usually worry that shading that might make my character look tired but actually if you get the value right it gives it a lot of life; you've done it on Jasmine); second is the color of the white of the eyes; it isn't really grey and white, it's more of a pale pink color because of the vessels underneath. There's a couple things that are maybe more of a personal preference; I can see that you prefer making things smooth but maybe at some point you could try giving the lips some texture and creases to the finger joints.
And the second thing has to do with skin color (not sure if I didn't alrdy say something about that on another painting, maybe I did). You already have quite a good grasp on it, I can see some yellows in the highlights, some purples in the shadows, it's overall really nice. The two areas I would tweak would be the hand (the skin there is usually slightly pinker and paler than the face and especially redder at the fingertips) and the shadows around the eye and nose (which I think would look better if they are a bit more desaturated or bluish.

Thank you for the detailed critique! Definitely will be applying it in future portraits.
