Hide and seek with your best friend... or rather, what's left of them.
It's actually not that morbid (though definitely something those two would do). Lyzlot is just collecting Shinkami's bones to bring them back to a science facility for recreation. It's after the two of them played under the sun for too long, and Shinkami realized he had forgotten to take his medicine, so puff -> his photophobia kicks in and his body decomposes, leaving only his bones.
Lyzlot sure enjoys hunting down all 206 of them haha please don't judge him ΦΦ He just wants to help his best friend.
