Sorry for the lame water attempt... First time trying this.I only wanted to practice on making clouds and different highlights ..like storms sunsets night sunrise and so on .... at first I made a stormy clouds thing(but the clouds were a vit bigger) and then I made this one and since I made the clouds so small ...I added water.
The water looked good at first but then I had to go on and add more colors to it and I destroyed it ....now it looks like a pile of rubbish ...bleh!
The sky is not well made either ... since I made it on a 1200x1200 pixels scale when trying to make the sky ..photoshop went nuts ...so I dropped it ...it's because of my lame computer
I'm just practicing with backgrounds I'm not using tutorials I'm just improvising my own way so this may not look that well to everybody

i think your color backgrounds better than characters. Maybe you should look at this positively and start coloring environmental settings

see you did this with a mouse, if you had a tablet it would come out even better. So yeah i think it looks good because it was done with a mouse. Maybe you should start focusing more on backgrounds if that's what you are good at doing. Atleast i think so

thanks sun I really want to improve on backgrounds cuz a picture must be complete ...but I won't stop coloring characters because I have to improve on that ...if you say I'm better with bgs ..it means I suck at coloring charas because I only made backgrounds a few times until now and ....well I color my drawings in photoshop since last october ...when I first started using PS that kinda makes me sad ya know ....sad cuz I worked so hard and didn't improve the least ....
