I kind of hate seeing other people's progress pictures plastered all over groups and their dA IDs, yet here I am with yet another one of my progress pictures fffs. I am such a bitchy hyprocrit.-----

It's not finished obviously. Just pretend it's coated. And painted black. And got a huge handle at the top. And tire mark things. And two other handles in the middle. And everything else it's missing that I have to finish by tomorrow night. (HEH.)
Anyway. If anyone wants to know how I actually put this together, feel free to note me/comment/send me a message/whatever. If people actually want to know, I'll write up the whole disaster along with my final pictures. If not, then I just won't waste my time~

The Rock Cannon was awesome in person! Looked like it weighed a ton too, but I now know that was clearly not the case looking at these pictures. Still I imagine it was quite the pain to carry around regardless. XD Kudos to you on that.
This may be a dumb question, but I could have sworn I saw a light in the barrel, does it light up?

Definetely, I ended up having a bruise on my shoulder the next day, and I'm still feeling after effects now of carrying that thing around ;; Next time I'll stick like a mini cushion inside my jacket LOL
And yeah, there's a lil portable LCD light I stuck inside, but didn't end up doing that till I was actually there at the con with the cannon Saturday morning. Just because I forgot lol~ It only sticks in there with an adhesive back and takes double A batteries, so it's not that intricate of a thing. I should take photoshoots of the finished cannon like I said I would.. ;;

Aw, just try and take it easy the next couple of days and if your shoulder is still hurting try icing it a little for 20 minutes or so every couple of hours. Do that and it'll feel right as a rain in no time.
Even if the lighting is something simple I find that to be a nice little touch! As for the photoshoot, take you're time, there's no rush. While I'd love to take a better look at the finished product it's very apparent you're a busy person with a lot going on. Put them up at your leisure and please don't stretch yourself thin for my, or anyone else, sake. ^^

My family said that too, about the ice. They're such pros at that kind of thing, I feel fine now~
And I thought so too, about the lighting, even though it was simple at least it was something interactive. I'd love to take my sweet time, but I've gotta BRS contest I want to enter photoshoots of the gun in! And also cosplay rivals to beat, dresses to make, along with all the regular school junk~;; Things'll cool down so much more after my exams in May, and I can't wait lol.

Glad to hear the shoulder is feeling better.
The fact that you pay attention to little details on your props, no matter how simple they may be, will surely lead to furthering your success in the near future.
With the talks of cosplay rivals and just seeing the level of dedication you put into your work, I'd really like to pick your brain about cosplay and your experiences with it one day when you're free as all of it sounds very interesting. But for now you definitely have a jam packed roster of tasks on your hands. Best of luck to you with the BRS contest and your exams in May!
