The road trip gave me the time I needed to study up on The Panda Queen. Born penniless she was fascinated by the fireworks rich noblemen set off every New years. She spent a decade learning the art. But when she tried to offer her fireworks to the noblemen, they couldn't see past her shabby clothes and chased her away. Humiliated, The Panda Queen took revenge on those who shunned her by using the very tools of her art for crime.Β The Fiendish Five recruitedΒ her as their demolitionsΒ expertΒ and from then on her explosiveΒ touch becameΒ feared worldwide. She's rumored to be perfecting a new firework technique high in the unstable Kunlun Mountains of western China.

In my point of view, this could definitely be what Jing King would look like!

actually this could be what she looks like. Only maybe with a more innocent demeanor.

While an epic Gender bender, whenever I see this art, I always think of Jing King after taking up the "Family Business" so to speak.

Panda Kind would certainly be a proud Papa if that were the case

Not sure, we only ever saw Jing King from behind...Although she cam off as more demure than her father XP.

I had lots of fun with this one, and the fact that it was easy to figure out probably helped with the design

For manga, though they're ecchi, two of my favorites are History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi: [link] and Mahou Sensei Negima: [link]
As for webcomics, there's Dominic Deegan: [link] and Homestuck.
For Homestuck, a few forewarnings. For one, it has a slow start due to its first 'Act'(Chapter) focusing more on silly antics than on plot, but that changes around Act 2. It's partially animated and some pages are even interactive. Oh, and whenever you see somethin' like 'Show Pesterlog' at the bottom of a page, you click that to read the conversation between characters. Anyways, here's its longest animated page thusfar, to show how epic it becomes, despite the slow start: [link]

I might look into History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi sometime (As you are not the first to recommend it to me). As for Negima...I used to own the first 24 volumes and I kinda gave up on the series
Never heard of Dominic Deegan, I'll look into it when my internet doesn't hate me
Homestuck...It's not my thing. I've tried on a few occasions to get into it and I just can't. There's no reason for it, really, I just don't enjoy it. The same thing happened with Soul Eater - tried to get into it and just can't. Just not my taste I guess

lol Understandable on Homestuck. Though, as I said, likely due to the first Act.
And ah on Negima. To each their own tastes then I guess. XD

Watched the video and while it's visually striking, the only thing I REALLY liked was the music. Now I'm buying the entire soundtrack just for that one 13 minute song lol.
I've heard Negima's changed quite a lot since I stopped reading it, but I don't feel like picking it up again. I'm having a hard enough time consistently following manga I do like lately (Like One Piece). I think I burnt out a bit on manga. At the height of my collecting I owned probably around 800+ volumes. And with the internet, I had read many more than that. I've been downsizing my collection a lot over the past 2 years and I'm down to about 30 manga now, actually

lol I know the feeling in regards to manga, even though I just read them online. XD Though, what is said about Negima getting better is true. Heck, later on, Negi develops a spell to FUSE his body to a Thousand Bolts spell, letting him move at the speed of lightning.... and yet he still barely wins against some of the veteran mages.
