Description
I bought a pack of Prismacolor pencils today (EXPENSIVE! ) and I decided to start them off. I decided on a picture of Ruby sleeping, similar to these old ones:

This picture, however, did not start with a pencil sketch. I started off with the coloured pencils, started with her head, went on progressively to the rest of her, kept reworking the colour, and then, when I was finished with her, I did the background.

It looks really amateurish, but then I am an amateur.

At least I didn't perch her Snoopy-style on top of a rock this time!
