I think the black frames (and frames at all) disturb a little bit ( I tell it to anybody whos uses them, so don't worry 
I used frames many years ago when I just started taking pictures and I wanted to add something special to them.
I think your photography is interesting and good enough and it doesn't need any frames. Frames close the composition and make kind of limit for the eye.

This is how I scan my negatives. I don't add those frames, they are already there. And I love them
