Thanks for the tutorial! I have been working with Adobe Illustrator this last few months creating vector illustrations for a picture book. I look forward into working on your tutorial in Photoshop.

This is a question more directed at the general populace than the (naturally brilliant) artist, but... How do I get the brush into PS, so to speak? Where should I save it to?
That the tutorial is great has been expressed a few times over, but yeah, this is fantastic and thank you very much for it!

umm Hi Sandara ive got a question about brushes , i use the brush u mentioned and some others but its always either to thic or to thin , does it depend on my intuos4 and my set up or is it just so that Ps is so good with sketching/drawing ^^ ?

I can't thank you enough for this tutorial! Even if the only available art program to me right now is Gimp, my hair drawing style improved ten fold.

Fantastic tutorial! I really want to get started and try it out. One thing - when I follow the link to the custom brush, I just get a jumble of text? Is there someplace else I can get it?
Thank you for the tutu.

I don't know if you figured it out, or if you care anymore, but I had the same problem and I figured it out. After you click the given link and it takes you to the "are you sure you want to leave deviantart" page, I right clicked the link and downloaded the file as opposed to going to the page. I hope this helps.

Wonderful tutorial! I found it very helpful.
I do have a question though.
When you start the final clean-up (the stage between the last and second-to-last pictures of the vampire girl, do you color over the linework or just clean it up?

I just have one question, when you say you clean up the sketch lines as you color/shade/lighten, do you erase some parts completely? Or are the lines on the same layer as the basic color layer?
Oh and one more thing, I have photoshop CS2, and is mechanical soft brush the same as the airbrush? I'm not sure if I have that one...I shall look again.
I REALLY REALLY love your coloring style, its been very inspiring

For some reason I don't have the airbrush in CS4. Or I just misunderstood something (Wouldn't be the first time).
