Hi everyone,This is my newest coin design.
Since its subject matter is a little different to what I usually do, I thought I'd ask you all for feedback and interest in buying this coin.
It would probably make a good gift for your bio teacher or a biologist. XD

As a hobby, I enjoy reading up on animals, and for a few years I read up on evolution and related sciences.
As it made quite an impact on me (sad to say, I never took Biology in school), I thought to design a coin based on it.
So on the front is a circular phylogenetic tree, with various species represented under the lines.
On the back is a quote from Darwin, together with 14 of his Galapagos finches.
Thanks to for the tree and for help in checking and suggestions for the animals.

Interesting that you have seen a similar art work from some time ago considering she just designed that with the 2 individuals credited in the picture info.
Unless you are referring to a specific animal image behind the circular tree design though.

I think they mean the phylogenetic tree. It's easy to see it and come across it if you're interested in biology, but I can see how not knowing the name would make it really hard to find it on an image search.

When I think about this world and the fact that evolution has become so popular even when it is really not back up by any facts, I get really sad because the world has fallen so far away from God. Even so the coin is well done even though I don't like the theme. You are a very good artist. Have a wonderful day!

I love it! Both sides are equally awesome. I adore the details in the red background, and the nods to Charles Darwin and the Galapagos Finches are both really great.Β
