This is somehow enchanting. Beautiful and creepy at the same time. It gives me the feeling of something really ominous in a seemingly beautiful place.

It draws me in the more I look at it. And it gets creepier as minutes pass by. I'm not sure how you all feeling about this.
It's like looking at a long abandoned part of my mind, something either long forgotten or hidden. I can see my self sitting in that chair, lost in that amazing peace, not wanting to leave, even I know it's not real.
That mental state ..where did I see it last time.. ah yes, Inception, Leo Dicaprio's character's memory of his wife.

There is such a...beautiful sadness, I think the proper term would be...to this painting. A serenity that is as false and yet as real as the world itself, but there's a haunted quality that cracks the serenity...yeah. Beautiful sadness.

My first thought of this was a creepier Beast (like Beauty and the Beast) and then i looked at him closer and he reminded me of the new Cheshire cat, at least in the face...
However, i LOVE the eerie feel this gives off. Almost like's he's welcoming you to your insanity. <3

yeah, i know. i spent quite a bit of time fooling around with it after i painted the chair and the room and couldn't decide what or who to put in. i had a girl sitting in the chair initially, but ditched it as i thought it was too obvious. i did think of leaving it empty, but it was TOO empty. XD
