Love the pic and love the reffrence. also is if a bit odd that out of all the rooms that look creepy with decay yet this room seem to hold life with all these years.

What a beautiful painting. I could stare at it for hours ! This light is so pure and this place almost looks familiar. This red... Maybe those bloody leaves should scare me, but they strangly don't. This scene is a dream and I'm feeling peaceful as I discover every tiny detail of it. And this man... Is it a man ? Is it a cat ? It doesn't really matter. His blue eyes are so calm and mysterious, he doesn't even need to talk. I wonder what he wants to show me : the world looks cold and cruel outside, however I really want to sit on that chair, to share this moment, this secret with him.

I would have like it better without the cat, but the overal atmosphere you created is beautiful. It's warm yet distant and cold, the branches and the autumn leaf floor tell me it's someone in the fall of his life, and then the title, good job
