Description
--FULL VIEW PLEASE--Hey everybody.
So here's the final render. The Casio Exilim EX-Z60 digital camera my brother has. It was rendered with Indigo in a bit under twenty hours... It was modelled with Blender and some textures were done with the Gimp. Though I think this one is done, critics and comments are highly appreciated for I might wanna do another angle render, perhaps than with some different parameters.
Take care and the best of luck in the new year!
Regards
Sander.

Hey there, Blender fella!
This is some fine work right here, i love it. I was just thinking of modeling a camera but first i thought, hm i'm gonna check who has done this.
Then i came upon this.
Wish i knew how to use Indigo lol

thanks, glad ye like it!
indigo is not that hard to use. ye just need a rather powerful pc or a lot of patience. often a bit of both.
just download it and try the blendigo exporter. you'll get a result in no time, than it's just tweaking testing and ye'll get ther. do try it, well worth it

It's a little fuzzy on the topside of the back render, other than that this is amazing

Thanks pal! You've got a very nice camera in your hands there than, have fun with it! You have some wonderful photo's in your gallery, are they done with the Exilim camera? Cause it says 'Casio' in the information bar.
Take care of yourself!

good one, it's really realistic, but it's kinda grainy.

Thanks. I know it's grainy, but it already took 20 hours. Such a product-presentation image, wich it should be sort of, shouldnt be grainy I know.

Extra thumbs up for using opensource software for creating these!

Thanks a lot!
(Indigo, the renderer I used for this, isn't really open-source, it's freeware as far as I'm aware. Great software nevertheless!)

i can't quite put my amazement in words
both the modelling and texturing are some of the most amazing works i've seen with freeware (mah teh blenderhead 2 )
the only thing i dont like about indigo is that it takes quite long to come to a quality high enough, but by then it IS pretty darn good

Thank you. Ye they used it in a header on the website, I saw it too some days ago . I've seen your "Indigo Room" on Indigorenderer.com some time ago. It's a lovely render though i think it could be rendered a bit longer for a less grainy result, plus there's a lot of wind
. I'm sure others have mentioned this before. Nevertheless, a great peace!

And thought your cam is great (Yea), your brush metal should be longer. Increase horizontal grauss blur in Gimp.
