Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time fan-art GO.I have immensely fond memories of playing this game, more so than any other Zelda title. I realise i’m about a month too late for the whole Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary thing, but screw it I say! In case you hadn’t realised from the title, or if you’ve never played Ocarina of Time (in which case you’re a bad person, feel free to slap yourself), this is final battle in the game between Link and Ganon.
Tools used: A4 paper, mechanical pencil, Photoshop CS5, mouse, Wacom Intuos 4
Update:
Since releasing this, I've been made aware by many of you that Link is left handed. Maybe Link injured his left arm and now has to resort to use his right arm?...or this is occurring in the Master Quest version of the game?...or I just screwed up? *chuckle* No, surely not.

I can't get over how amazing this is. OoT was the very first LoZ game I played and still my favorite to this day. This Ganon (while people may say is too easy) is still my favorite version to defeat!
Honestly, I'm so in awe of this piece, I didn't even notice the fact that Link's holding the sword in the "wrong" hand. And your right! Anyone that's played the DS version - maybe this is the Master Quest version! xD [I can't wait to get that far myself - I'm stuck!] Haha
I love the flames! The perspective is perfect! From the battleground, all the way to the wind, rain, and the lightning and clouds! And the Master Sword glowing?! Fangirl squeals galore!
This piece is intense and I love everything about it. I really feel like sh*t's about to get real when looking up at Ganon at this "camera view" angle. Thank you so much for posting this!

I submit to your godly artistic prowess.There are a great amount of details on both Link and Ganon; the lighting and your execution of the color palette enhances those details even more. The light of the Master Sword is just awesome and serves as an epic reminder of the power it holds and grants its "master", and the hilt and blade are well designed to the point where I want to just touch the sword to see if it's real. Both characters' battle stances are full of energy, and the storm, ring of fire, and gusts of wind intensify this already-epic showdown. Spectacular job!

As great as the music and the atmosphere to this boss is.. Ganon is anti-climactically easy. I think the Wind Waker and Twilight Princess fights with him are a lot better.
But I digress, this picture looks amazing! Great job!

Thanks! I played OOT several months ago on the 3DS and he was definitely easier then I remembered it as a kid. I also loved those other two battles as well, particularly Wind Wakers.

Holy asfdskfjdskafsjdlkj!!!!! I love this!!!!!!! Absolutely incredible!!!! I have so much nostalgia from playing this game as well!!! This final battle, the closing scenes, and this whole game impacted me so much when I was a little kid!!! Ahh, I need to play this game again! =3 Incredible work!!!

UUNF! YES!!! I recall so fondly as a child when I played through this game for the first time, when I first saw this monster, the music, the atmosphere, the whole enchilada, I had chills. Even through my 30 something play through, that feeling remains. This really captures the intensity of the moment when one first draws up their sword against the monstrous beast. Well done
