This one, I kinda tried blending the digitigrade/anthro and plantigrade/human. >-> Seen it done a by a couple artists, but usually I draw mine walking on their toes.
--Not that I know well enough to make a good anatomical distinction between the different forms right now. :'3

You could practice sketching your own? o3o I got a horrible-but-not-completely-hopeless grasp of it between doing that, and looking through some stuff and getting a better idea of how to construct them.
Plus practice.
Still horrible, but meh, could be worse. =3=
I dunno about you, but I like to hide them when I can get away with it, lol.

Ah. o-o I know only a few. Though, I at lease made some good practice with reading hiragana and katakana; I'm currently about 80-90 characters into kanji, though only with meanings, not their actual readings. >->

I know a handful of hiragana and katakana, mostly katakana, but I can read them.
My advice is to find a song in Japanese, get the lyrics in the kanji, then get a sheet of the symbols and their readings and translate that bitch into romaji.

I actually found a program dedicated to learning Japanese through anime and manga. xP But either way, there are places where you can find written junk with kanji symbols and hiragana readings above/below them; it's how the youth of Japan learns, I think.

I started a 3-4 years ago, and have made progress similar to a dedicated person's 2-3 weeks. :'3
I'm sure you can't be doing that bad compared to that, lol.
