That sounds like fun, my teacher wasn't a native speaker (it was funny, the German teacher had a Japanese last name but the Japanese teacher had a German last name) so I don't know what it's like.

The only time we saw Sensei in Japanese style clothing was on Halloween, when he was a pirate for the older classes and a Geisha for the freshmen.

I agree, but the whole event of my brother's first year in highschool ended up having some moments of serious culture shock for him.

Actually, most of it was pretty darn funny and he doesn't seem too badly traumatized from the experience. Hopefully in the future he'll be able to take things, like teachers goofing around, in stride more.
